Henry Buehman, Cabinet Card (ca 1887) of the Miles Olla, designed and painted by 18 year old Miss Laurette Lovell of Tucson, completed on August 5, 1887. The olla was a gift for General Nelson A. Miles, and presented to him at the reception after a parade in his honor on November 8, 1887. This olla had been in the U. S. Military Academy Museum Collection prior to its return to the Miles Family, and is one of 4 surviving ollas created by Miss Lovell.
