4. It Moves Us 

Through storytellers and artists, writers and balladeers, this segment sings of the Colorado River’s pervasive presence in the West, and therefore, in our hearts.  It matters little to those who interpret the River that they may not see all of it as it snakes through the varied landscapes.  Knowing it exists is enough.  The Colorado River inspires creation stories that have survived for centuries.  It inspires new generations of artists to sing, to write, to paint, to dance, and to compose.  It pulls at the heartstrings and knocks at our funny bones.  Its wildness is soothing; its serenity healing.  Always, it moves us.
